Katy Perry and Russell Brand were married for 14-months before he texted her asking for a divorce. In fact Russell made quite a public scene out of the situation by posting a picture on Twitter confirming his divorce.
Katy, 30, hadn't really spoken up about the situation with her ex-husband and now she's revealed her and Russell are not on speaking terms. Well, you did get divorced.
She told the Daily Telegraph: "He hasn't spoken to me since he texted me saying he was filing for divorce."
Katy previously told Vogue that her Russell had asked for a legal separation via text message on December 31, 2011.
However this is the first time she's opened up about her current state with the British comedian.
"I don't want to end up bittersweet. I have to evolve, I have to continue to push people's perceptions of me," continued Katy.
"I'm excited by whatever it brings. I'm excited by my own evolution."
Katy and Russell were together for less than two years, shared a cat named Rusty (named after both of them) and even got matching Sanskrti tattoos on their inside of their arms.
