It was the end of an era back in September 2020 when Kim Kardashian confirmed that Keeping Up With the Kardashians was coming to an end.
She broke the devastating news in a statement on social media, which read, "To our amazing fans - It is with heavy hearts that we’ve made the difficult decision as a family to say goodbye to Keeping Up with the Kardashians. After what will be 14 years, 20 seasons, hundreds of episodes and numerous spin-off shows, we are beyond grateful to all of you who’ve watched us for all of these years – through the good times, the bad times, the happiness, the tears, and the many relationships and children.
"We’ll forever cherish the wonderful memories and countless people we’ve met along the way."
By the time of its final episode, Keeping Up With the Kardashians was an entirely different beast from the show that first began airing in 2006. In case you've forgotten the entirely bonkers (but brilliant) moments that occurred in the first two seasons, we've done a deep dive. You're welcome...
1) Do you know who I am? Oh...

It’s hard to imagine a time when people didn’t know who Kim Kardashian was, but that time existed, friends. Turning up to a lame celeb catwalk show Kris had signed her up for, Kimmy was mortified when the security demanded ID. He obviously hadn’t seen her infamous sex tape, leaked just months earlier in 2007.
2) Kim's always been an ugly crier
We presumed Kim’s ugly cry face was down to the excessive amount of ’tox and fillers she’s had over the years. But, by the looks of Kim in season one (then aged 26), she’s always been an aesthetically-challenged tear producer. The cause of this particular outburst? She thought she had a spider on her back in Mexico.
3) Casa Kardashian
Their home décor may grace the pages of Architectural Digest now, but back in the day, it was a different design story altogether. Home highlights included momager Kris brokering deals from a fold-down desk, and her “walk-in wardrobe” resembling a Sports Direct store cupboard.
4) Khloe gets sloppy
Khloé got arrested for a DUI, was locked up overnight to sober up, and tried to keep it from Kris Jenner. Incredible scenes.
5) Basic bitches
Everyone had questionable style when they were younger, but it doesn’t stop us revelling in the girls’ terrible hair, make-up and styling. Before the mandatory glam squad and ring-flash lighting for the to-camera pieces, the Kardashians were just as clueless as us.

1 of 14Kourtney vs Kim
In the latest series Kim and Kourtney have a physical fight and to be honest we're not surprised. Tension has been building between the pair for quite some time and Kourt has even confessed that she's stepping back from the reality show.
2 of 14Khloe vs Kim
Remember when Khloe shut the door on Kim when she was trying to get into the apartment and then Kim came out with the famous line, "don't be f—king rude" before hitting her with her bag? Iconic.
3 of 14Kim and Kris vs Rob
Throwback to when Kim was dating (and then went on to marry) Kris Humphries. Well, one of the stand-out moments from their relationship was the whole diamond earring incident but during that same holiday, remember when Kim and Kris argued with Rob Kardashian? After the siblings exchanged words, Kris stepped in to defend Kim but nobody was prepared for when Rob called her a "wh-re".
4 of 14Kylie vs Kendall
So Kylie and Kendall aren't full time cast members but whenever they're on screen they know how to make their mark. While the pair were getting ready at Kylie's house, Kendall wanted to borrow one of her sister's dresses and it's safe to say Ky wasn't having it. Kylie refused to lend her the dress and Kendall went on to call her "the biggest f—king b-tch" and a "c—t". So much dramz.
5 of 14Kim vs Kourtney
Kim and Kourtney's row over North West and Penelope Disick's Candyland themed party went on for a few days but it reached its peak when they came to blows and almost called it off. While Kourtney was arguing it'll be too much sugar for the kids, Kim pointed out that was the whole theme of the party. Luckily they went ahead with it but the kids ended up being far too hyper… following all that candy.
6 of 14Scott vs the waiter
Scott has definitely had the best character development throughout the series. Remember the early series when he went wild with his partying? He punched the mirror in Miami and shoved money down the waiters throat? Everyone was embarrassed and of course, the following day he apologised.
7 of 14Scott vs Corey
This row still makes us cringe whenever we think about it. During dinner Kourtney revealed Penelope scratched her nanny on the face and it resulted in her quitting. Things were getting pretty heated between everyone but it certainly took a turn when Corey said if she was his child he would have given her a "spanking for sure". Oh boy...
8 of 14Kendall vs Caitlyn
It all kicked off when Caitlyn Jenner publicly announced she was going to the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show that Kendall was walking. Kendall put her foot down and admitted she was "p-ssed" at her dad for taking the attention and went on to disinvite her. Awks.
9 of 14Kris vs the rest of the family
This will always be our funniest KUWTK episode. When the Kardashian sisters (and Kim's friend Larsa Pippen) were judging Kris for letting Rob stay in one of her houses, Kris put her foot down. She reminded them that she's supported them throughout all their "sh-t" including Kim's short marriage –remember her classic, "I'm married for 72 days, really that was normal"? Iconique.
10 of 14Kim vs Kourtney
Kim is pretty savage during any argument but she went a step too far when she claimed Kourtney was the "least interesting to look at" after her older sister was being difficult with the schedule for their annual Christmas card.
11 of 14Kourtney vs Jonathan Cheban
Throwback to Kourtney and Khloe take Miami (an iconic time, tbh). Jonathan should learn not to get involved in family fights. During the early days he defended Kim and ended up rowing with Kourtney. After Kourt told him "you're shoved so far up Kim's ass" and "You're such a f—king loser", he clapped back and said, "Scott's never going to marry you!" Kourt didn't take his jibe lightly and ended up slapping him around the face.
12 of 14Kendall vs Kris
The Kardashians Christmas party is one we would LOVE to go to but in 2018 things got a little awkward when Kendall wanted her dad Caitlyn to attend but Kris wasn't keen. After Kris pointed out that it could be awkward because of all the drama from Caitlyn's book, Kendall made it clear she wanted her dad there.
13 of 14Kim and Jonathan vs Khloe and Malika
While the Kardashians were on holiday, things got awkward when Jonathan Cheban told Malika Haaq that he got a bigger room because his best friend Kim is more famous than her best pal Khloe. When they all confronted each other, Kim told Khloe and Malika that she thought they had "an inferiority complex". Riiiight.
14 of 14Kendall vs Rob
When Rob started dating Blac Chyna it was awkward for the entire family but things took a turn when he gave her an iPad… that Kendall gave him for HIS birthday. To top it all off, Kendall found out through Instagram.
6) Young Kylie is precocious AF
So, you know how Kylie’s pout-and-pose game is mega-hardcore? Well, it turns out we should’ve seen it coming. Exhibit A: ten-year-old Kyles busting Girls Gone Wild moves on a stripper pole (which Kim gave Kris and Bruce for their anniversary) and sucking her finger. Yikes.
7) Sex scandal part II
Usually straight-laced Kourt had a racy moment when she took naked pics with her high-school boyfriend, which Kim playfully stole then lost. She became hysterical when they were touted to the press – before the actual FBI got involved. Presumably her siblings have taken heed, though they do say these things come in threes...
8) Woah there, mama
After Kris tried to persuade a reluctant Kim to strip off for Playboy, her daughter decided to force her mum to do a naked shoot. But it backfired as Kris was well up for it, leaving Kim with egg on her face and us with a view we will never unsee.
9) Bruce Almighty
Bruce was always a pushover, but we didn’t realise quite how much the girls took the piss. Not only did Kris lie that she, Kim, Kourt and Khloe were going on a girls’ weekend – when in fact they were doing a bikini shoot that “conservative” Bruce wouldn’t agree with – but Kris also sanctioned Kendall buying a new puppy when he had specifically said no. Ouch.
10) Not travelling in style
Back in 2007, jumping on a private jet for a vacay wasn’t a thing. Instead, when the gang wanted to go on a fun weekend to Vegas, they took a party bus like everyone (no one) else and endured the hellish six-hour drive – including a pit stop for Kris to pee in a car park.

11) Kourt and Scott PDA shocker
They may be the masters of “keeping-it-civil-for-the-kids”, but before the big freeze set in – brought on by Scott’s repeated bad behaviour – The Lord and his pint-sized lady were madly in love, and it showed. As well as plenty of PDAs, the young lovebirds even decided to get hitched in Vega before common sense (Kris Jenner) prevailed.
12) Tough love
Once upon a time, the Kardashians didn’t have security and anyone could approach them – or, like in series one, walk in and vandalise their clothes shop. When the girls still don’t take their security seriously, though, Rob and Scott decide to teach them a lesson by wearing masks and robbing the shop with fake guns. As you do.
13) Sex Ed, Kardashian-style
As if sex education isn’t awkward enough, imagine doing it in front of the cameras. Kendall endured just that when Khloé first explained periods to her sis, before demonstrating where babies came from by showing Kenny the video of Kris giving birth to her. Stuff of nightmares.
14) Tatts a bad idea
Who knew the Kardashian matriarch had a tattoo of a cross on her lower back? OK, now hands up if you knew she also got Kylie and Kendall’s names inked on a whim when she was drunk as a skunk because she “loved the idea”, and because the other girls were giving her grief? Nope, us neither.
How can I watch the Kardashians' new show?
Keeping Up With the Kardashians fans needn't worry too much as shortly after Kim revealed the show was coming to an end, it was announced that the family had inked a deal with Hulu to make a brand new series.
The Kardashians, as it's simply titled, will air on Hulu from 14 April and follow Kim, Khloe, Kourtney and co through such dramas as Kim's divorce from Kanye West and new relationship with Pete Davidson, Kylie Jenner's second pregnancy and Kourtney's baby plans with new man Travis Barker.
