It seemed as though the entirety of the UK - nay, the WORLD - was completely enraptured by TV hit Killing Eve. The spy thriller, starring Sandra Oh as Eve Polastri and Jodie Comer as Villanelle, was immensely popular not only in the UK, but also across the US where it aired first.
Since the conclusion of season one in the UK in September 2018, we've all been chomping at the bit to find out what happened to Villanelle after - SPOILER ALERT - she was stabbed by Eve and then seemingly escaped.
Of course, since it aired in the US in April, we've had to dodge spoilers online left, right and centre - but there's not long to wait now until we can just watch it for ourselves, as the UK air date for season 2 has FINALLY been announced.

When will Killing Eve season 2 air in the UK?
The BBC have now announced that the second series of Killing Eve will be available to stream in full on Saturday 8th June. That means ALL the episodes will be available all at the same time to binge watch in its entirety. YAS 🙌.
It will also be airing weekly for those who prefer to pace themselves, airing the same day on BBC One on 9.15pm with each episode following suit.
Jodie Comer, who won a BAFTA TV Award earlier this month for her portrayal of the assassin, spoke about the success of the show, "The reaction to season one was insane and unexpected.
"We all believed in the show and were so passionate when making it but you can never second guess how the audience is going to take it. The response was enormous; there were some incredible Villanelle Halloween costumes and fan art. I’ve never been part of a show that’s had such an amazing reaction so it’s been really lovely."
