The third and most recent winner of RuPaul's Drag Race UK was crowned back in November 2021 when Krystal Versace triumphed over runners-up Ella Vaday and Kitty Scott-Claus to win the title of the UK’s next Drag Race superstar, joining the Drag Race UK Hall of Fame.

Since then, Krystal has gone on to headline shows across the UK and toured America with some of Drag Race’s most popular queens.

She even recorded a song with Ant and Dec alongside fellow Drag Race UK winners The Vivienne and Lawrence Chaney. Is there anything this queen can’t do?

Who is Krystal Versace?

Krystal is a drag queen who won the third series of RuPaul's Drag Race UK in 2021. She's the drag alter-ego of make-up artist Luke Fenn.

Snatching the crown at just 19 years old, Krystal is now in the record books as the youngest EVER winner of RuPaul's Drag Race. She started off doing drag in her bedroom while practicing her make-up skills at the age of 13, with RuPaul telling Krystal on the show, "You were born to be a drag queen."

Krystal was already well known on social media before appearing on Drag Race UK, having already amassed 33,000 Instagram followers before she was even announced for season three after sharing her impressive looks online. Of course, Krystal's following has skyrocketed since then and she now boasts over 252,000 followers.

Did Krystal Versace lip sync on Drag Race UK?

Krystal established herself as a frontrunner on Drag Race UK when she was in the top two for the first challenge and then won the lip sync against Victoria Scone. She didn't have to lip sync again until the penultimate week of the competition when she found herself in the bottom two against Vanity Milan. The pair lip synced to Dua Lipa's Hallucinate, with Krystal coming out on top and progressing to the final.

The final three - Krystal, Kitty Scott-Claus and Ella Vaday - then lip synced to You Don't Own Me by Dusty Springfield in the finale before Krystal was crowned the winner of the show.

Speaking at the finale event in London, Krystal told BBC Three, "I feel like I’m in a dream. It feels a bit surreal.

"Honestly, I would never have thought I’d win the show. It’s mind-blowing to me."

What has Krystal Versace been up to since Drag Race UK?

After winning Drag Race UK, Krystal teamed up with previous winners The Vivienne and Lawrence Chaney to record a charity single with Ant and Dec called We Werk Together. Proceeds from the single went to The Trussell Trust and Ant and Dec even dragged up as Lady Antoinette and Miss Donna Lee to perform the track on Saturday Night Takeaway with Krystal, Lawrence and Viv.

Krystal also debuted her new show The Next World in Brighton, London and Manchester and has been touring around the US on the War on the Catwalk tour with drag royalty like Brooke Lynn Hytes, Miz Cracker and Priyanka.
