In probably the best telly news since Love Island's big return, Lindsay Lohan is joining the cast of new Sky comedy Sick Note for its second series.
Lindsay will star alongside Harry Potter's Rupert Grint and Nick Frost of Hot Fuzz and Shaun of the Dead fame.
The comedy follows the life of Daniel Glass, portrayed by Rupert, a compulsive liar who is wrongly diagnosed by his Doctor (Nick) who eventually convinces Daniel to cover up the misdiagnosis with an elaborate lie.
Lindsay is joining the cast for the second series as Katerina West – the daughter of Daniel's boss, Kenny West – and is currently filming in the UK.
The first series is due to hit our screens this autumn.
"One lie leads to the next in this unsettlingly brilliant comedy that will hook viewers in and have them on the very edge of their seats," explained Sky's Head of Comedy Jon Montague.
He added: "Filming for series two is already under way and we're delighted to confirm Lindsay Lohan will be joining Rupert and Nick in this stellar comedy cast."
We've got VERY high hopes.
In other Linsday Lohan news, Tyra Banks recently revealed she was keen for the Mean Girls actress to reprise her role as Casey Stuart in the upcoming Life-Size sequel.

Speaking on The Talk, Tyra said she'd been “having conversations with Ms. Lohan”.
She continued: "Yes, and I want her to come back and I think that she does too.
"Actually, I know she does. So, I really hope that she can be in it."
PLZ, PLZ, PLZ.
