We at heat are firm believers that T_he X Factor_ is an infallible entity that is perfect in every way and can do no wrong.
But Louis Walsh, LOUIS ACTUAL WALSH OFF THE ACTUAL X FACTOR JUDGING PANEL, has thrown a bit of shade its way.
He’s said that contestants don’t need to be able to sing, they just need to “look good”.
Speaking to Ireland’s Ray D’Arcy radio show, he said that contestants just need to “look the part”.
He said, according to the Daily Star: “It does not matter if you can’t sing if you look that good. You can lip-sync for your life.
“Simon can make people stars if he likes them. He made One Direction happen.”
BUT ONE DIRECTION SOUND AMAZING, WHAT ON EARTH DOES LOUIS MEAN?
This comes after Lou Lou dropped some MAJOR bombshells about the future of the judging panel.
He told The Mirror that Nicole might have bagged herself a Hollywood movie role and thinks Mel B should return instead:
"Nicole might be getting a big movie like Wicked.
"If [Nicole doesn’t come back] Mel B would be a good idea for the panel.
"Mel is on the US show with Simon."
The former Spice Girl was last seen on the UK's X Factor alongside Cheryl, Simon and Louis in 2014.
Louis then added that he 100% knows that his position is safe, even though Simon gave him the boot in 2015. Never forget.
"I am signed for the next two years on X Factor so I am okay," he said.
"The show lacked energy when I was not there and Simon knew."
Obvs.
