The 62-year-old – who saw his last act, Stereo Kicks, booted out of the competition last night – turned the tables on Sarah when she was interviewing him and quizzed her about her rumoured romance with Stevi Richie.
“How about Stevi and you? Is that still going on?” he asked Sarah. “Last week they were in the hotel in Wembley. Everybody knows.”
Sarah quickly hit back, saying: “Oh shut up, you! Old news, move on,” before calling him “boring”.
But Louis wouldn’t stop and shouted at the screen, “Stevi thinks it’s real. Stevi, call her!”
How embarrassing.
The rumours began after Sarah revealed Simon tried to set her up with the dad-of-one .
In an earlier show, all the judges demanded to know what was going on, with Cheryl F-V saying to Sarah: “I heard that you did [stayed the night in a hotel with Stevi]... somebody is telling me it’s true.”
Sarah has denied anything ever went on and, luckily for her, Stevi has kept schtum over the rumours too.
We bet there were some crossed words when those cameras stopped rolling…
