It may not be Christmas anymore, but that doesn’t mean we don’t spend the majority of our hangover days watching Love Actually.

Even though the film came out all the way back in 2003, the world is still very much talking about it. There was the sequel, the revelation that a major part of the film was almost completely different, and this seriously emotional deleted scene.

And now possibly the most shocking detail of them all has emerged – and it concerns an age difference between two of the cast.

You know Sam? The little boy who was in love with Joanna and who’s now in Game Of Thrones? Well, it turns out the actor who played him, Thomas Brodie-Sangster, is only FIVE YEARS younger than Keira Knightley, who played Juliet in the film.

This means that Juliet, the one who was married to Peter and stalked by his creepy AF friend Mark, was IRL only five years older than the little boy.

HOW IS THIS EVEN POSSIBLE?

Keira was born on 26 March 1985, and Thomas on 16 May 1990. She was 18 while shooting the film, and he was 13. Madness!

Predictbly, Twitter went absolutely mad at the revelation.

One person wrote: “kinda fucked how keira nightly and thomas brodie were in their teens when doing love actually but she was playing a grown ass woman and he was playing an eight year old”.

Another added: “Still shook by the fact that Keira Knightly was only 18 when she was in love actually and only 5 years older than guy who played the little loved-up boy wtf”.
