This year's series of Love Island may be over but in just a few days the first ever episode of Love is Blind UK will stream on Netflix and dare we say we feel a new obsession brewing?
The dating show has already made waves in countless other countries including Japan, Sweden and the US but it's now it's the UK's time and we have all the deets.
What happens on Love is Blind UK?
The contestants ‘date’ each other but it’s all done behind closed doors from 'pods,' as in they have NO IDEA what the person they’re talking to looks like.
Fifteen girlies and 15 guys will feature on the dating show and rumour has it that around 225 dates occur on the first day.
It is a no thank you from us, there are only so many times you can ask how many siblings a person has before you want to rip your hair out.
Although it starts out in a speed-dating style as the series go on they can pick to have longer dates with certain fellow romantic hopefuls and even propose to the person they've been flirting with.
Only once a proposal has been accepted will the couple come face to face and this is where the real drama begins as over the new few weeks the new lovebirds will move in together, plan their wedding and see if the romance will work in the real world.
When does Love is Blind UK start?
The shows will premiere on 7 August 2024 with the first four episodes being released at once and another five ready for streaming from 21 August 2024.
