Excellent 2016 news now, and Love Island is returning to our tellyboxes THIS SUMMER for a brand new series.
What's more, Caroline Flack will come back to host the show and hand over £50,000 to one definitely-super-in-love-and-not-just-together-because-of-the-cash couple.

It features some lady-twins, a woman screeching as she gets suncream in her hair, lots of groomed dudes in tiny pants and, as ever, a heady sense of desperation to partner up with someone - anyone - in order to grasp that cash prize.
In short: AMAZING.
When is Love Island back on?
ITV is asking its candidates to keep their diaries clear in June and July 2016, plus have a valid passport from 1 May to 31 August, so it looks like filming will be starting in June, and it should be on our screens shortly after.
For six weeks we'll see a brand new line-up of singletons smooch each other in the hopes of finding true, burning love.

Cast your mind back almost a whole year to when Jess Hayes and Max Morley won Love Island 2015 with 42% of the public vote – then promptly split a full five weeks after the final.
And then Max dated Charlotte Crosby straight afterwards, and it was a bit confusing because we thought Jess and Max would be 4evs.
Thinking about it, Love Island doesn't have the best success rate, does it? Runners-up Hannah Elizabeth and Jon Clark actually got engaged on the show, then ended their relationship three months later.
Hmm.
