Marcel Sommerville has easily been one of the most popular Love Island contestants from the very beginning of the series, and since being coupled up with Gabby Allen, the two of them have been inseparable.
In fact, just a couple of days ago, in a scene which had the whole world swooning, the Blazin’ Squad bae asked Gabby to be his girlfriend during the weekly recoupling ceremony, and (of course) she said yes.
So, when we found out that Marcel is set to snog the newbie Shannen McGrath in tonight's Love Island episode, we could barely believe our ears.
MARCEL? No, he would never do a thing like that!
Well, the good news is that the kiss was only part of a game of 'sexy charades' in which the two Love Island villas had to complete a series of risqué challenges in order to compete against each other for victory. But the bad news is that they STILL SNOGGED.
What will Gabby say?!
There's warning signs ahead that she won't be happy, as earlier that evening, Gaby reads the instructions of the game to the villa, and she appears visibly concerned at what it says.
“The villa that has the most points at the end will win a party tonight. #gettingracy #nolovelost #kissmequick," she read.
And in the Beach Hut, Gabby explains her concerns: “It’s a tricky situation for me because obviously I want our villa to win so I want to get as many points as possible but if I have to kiss people that’s cheating, no?”
Uh oh. Well Marcel certainly didn't seem to think that it was.
Despite his naughty behaviour with the new Islander, tonight's episode does make clear that our blazing boy Marc really does like his girlfriend Gabs, and we can't help but think that he was just innocently playing along with the game.
Talking to Chris, he admits: “This is the worst moment of my life because right now I feel totally out of control.
"I feel like everything was going so smoothly. Say they send in a guy who is even more Gabby’s type than me, who is nicer? And I’m not there for three days. This guy is going to try and crack on… I’m usually cool as a cucumber bruv.”
Awww. Well let's hope she forgives you for planting a smacker on another girl then Marcel, because we kinda ship the two of you together.
