And we’re still cringing now tbh.
The couple have pretty much coasted through the first few weeks of the programme as the villa’s strongest couple. They got into a relationship first, said the L word first, and even promoted themselves to the role of the villa’s agony aunt and uncle.
But if tonight’s episode is anything to go by, then things between GARCEL might not be as rosy as we once thought.
Yup...brace yourselves, because when Gabby walks off mid-way through a conversation with Marce tonight, things seriously kick off between the pair.
We know, PETTY ARGUMENT OR WHAT?!
Speaking to Gabs about her behaviour, Marcel says: “We were having a conversation, I was midway through a sentence about something and I wasn’t a priority to you at that current point.”
But Gabby’s having none of it.
“You’re so stupid,” she replies, “you’re making some point out of nothing, you’re ridiculous”.
Jeeez. Surely theres not going to be mega dramz between one of the villa's strongest couples over something as trivial as this?
Speaking later in the episode about their argument, Gabby suggests theres a deeper reason that the pair are arguing.
She says: “Sorry if you were midway through a sentence… You know when you’re at the dinner table and you ask if you can be excused, that’s how it made me feel. It’s made me feel like I have to ask if I can leave.
“I feel like yesterday’s challenge after someone stupidly said my feelings for you are fake, maybe that got to your head last night."
Hmm. We think Gabby's hit the nail on the head, to be honest.
Could the public's opinion have created some cracks in Gabby and Marcel's relationship?!
