For us here at heat, choosing our favourite reality TV show is like choosing our favourite child. We totally love them all equally, but if we're honest there's definitely one we've got a teeny bit more of a soft spot for. At the moment, Love Island is our golden child and we are SO excited for its big return to our screens.
If you haven't already seen the steamy AF new teaser trailer, watch it here.
As we patiently wait for the new season to start at the end of May, there's been some MAJOR Love Island news set to make our summer a whole lot better and guarantee this will be the best series yet.
Show bosses have confirmed there's going to be a whole extra week of dramz in the villa. Yep. Another seven full days of sun, sex and saucy shenanigans.
According to The Sun, a source revealed: "Due to the massive success of last year’s series among viewers, bosses have decided to extend the current one by a week.
"They hope this will give contestants a greater chance of finding love and lead to more summer loving than ever before."
AAHHHHH!
Let's hope this extra week will mean more couples fall in love and stay together forever and ever and ever. We're not sure we can take the heartbreak of another winning couple calling it quits.
Last year's winners Nathan Massey and Cara de la Hoyde recently ended their romance, with Nathan revealing on Twitter: "Me and Cara have split, we've had the best summer of our lives but it's been a tough few weeks and wish her the best of luck for the future." Complete with heartbroken emoji.
GAH. Life's so unfair.
Meanwhile Cara tweeted: "Me & nath have split. sometimes love just isn't enough, but what will be will be thankyou for everyone's support lately" and retweeted fellow Love Island pal Olivia Buckland's message saying 'nothing changes' her friendship with the pair of 'beautiful people.'
Here's everything we know about the new series of Love Island so far.
