Love Islandbombshell Danny Bibby caused quite a stir within his first few days in the villa but now he's all loved up with his new girlfriend.
Back in September (months after leaving the villa) it became clear that things had worked out for him in the end, after he shared a cosy-looking snap with a mystery woman.
In the picture, which was posted to his Instagram Story, Danny and his new boo stared into the camera as she tenderly cradled his face.
Although he didn’t write a caption for the photo, Danny added a GIF which read, “I’m a winner!”
And it appears that things are serious for the 2021 bombshell because he's since posted a few more photos of himself and his girlfriend.
However he's not tagged her in any photos, so if you want to know her name you'll have to keep an eye on his Instagram...
This isn't the first person Danny has been linked to someone since he was thrown in the spotlight.
Shortly after he entered the villa there was speculation that Danny had a secret girlfriend and that he was just in the villa to earn money instead of finding love (as if none of the contestants have ever done that...).
Eagled-eyed fans noticed that Danny’s supposed ex-girlfriend, Nicole Jade, was in Mallorca, just miles from the Spanish villa while the show was on TV.
CHECK OUT: Love Island rules - everything that could get contestants REMOVED from the villa
Love Island: what are the rules? slider
1. Alcohol
It is suggested that one of Love Island's main rules is that contestants follow the strict alcohol policy.Eyal Booker from Series four of Love Island exclusively told Closer about the villa's very strict drinks policy. When asked about how much the Islanders were allowed to drink, he told us, "it was very, very limited. Max two glasses of wine a night and that's max!"
2. Eating
According to 2018 Islander Alexandra Cane, one of the Love Island rules insists that contestants food intake is monitored.Viewers are always wondering when the contestants eat as we never see them sit down for meals unless they leave the villa to go on dates. Alexandra Cane revealed to Closer, "We do have to be monitored on what we eat. This is to make sure everyone in the house is eating sufficient amounts of food and no one is going to get ill."So, lunch and dinner times were never shown because we had to eat certain amounts."She added, "Sometimes we would be split up so the girls would sit on their own and the boys would sit on their own to eat food, but it was mainly for monitoring purposes".
3. Smoking
In the first few seasons of Love Island, smoking was openly seen on camera and the smoking area seemed the most popular hotspot for the best conversations and gossiping. However, the show then faced backlash as it was seen to encourage and glamourise the habit. So in 2018, the ITV2 show introduced strict rules which meant Islanders could only smoke off screen. Smokers now have to ask for a cigarette and enter the designated area one at a time, it's said. The 2018 smoking ban inside the villa grounds seems to have carried on for the fifth series.
4. Health checks
Love Island Bosses recently revealed that the 2019 cast had to pass mental health checks before entering the villa. This rule comes after the reality show received criticism for its aftercare in the wake of the deaths of former contestants Mike Thalassitis and Sophie Gradon.Niall Aslam, from 2018, left the villa just days into the series and later shared his daily struggles with Asperger's syndrome and mental health. Each Islander now follows a continuous duty of care process which covers pre-filming, filming and aftercare.
5. Fighting
Kady McDermott recently claimed that she was punched and left with a bleeding nose during her time on Love Island.Kady came third in 2016 alongside her then boyfriend Scott Thomas, but has now admitted her feud with fellow Islander Malia Arkian extended far beyond what was shown on TV.Kady shared an apparent extra insight into the infamous fight as she shared a video of the altercation on her Twitter page.At the time viewers were told that Malia had "shoved" Kady and subsequently been removed from the house. It seems that the no-fighting policy on the ITV2 show is very strict and those who break it, are removed from the villa immediately.
6. Microphones
We are assuming that Love Island has one quite obvious rule - keep the microphone packs on at all times. The producers like to capture every conversation that takes place on the show and Dani Dyer revealed that while everything on the show is real, some things are tweaked. She told the Capital Breakfast show, "The only direction you have is just on your conversations, so that they space them out a little bit because you can't have like 10 conversations going on at once so they'll be like, 'just wait a little bit longer' or 'leave it 'til the morning'."
7. No nudity
This rumoured rule has definitely been broken in the past...It's claimed that Love Island's apparent no nudity policy means contestants are not allowed to be fully naked in front of each other or even in the shower, as the villa is a public place.
8. Masturbation
One of Love Island's rules apparently includes a ban on solo sex acts.We are assuming that masturbating, along with full nudity, is banned for contestants so others are not made to feel uncomfortable in the villa.According to The Mirror, "Despite islanders being told to get frisky whenever they wish, this must be with a partner. No solo acts are permitted on the premises".However Elma Pazar hinted that all the boys broke this rule in the villa.
9. The Handbook
Former Islander of series three, Simon Searles, told The Sunabout Love Island's strict booklet, that is given to each contestant on the show. He told the publication, "They give you a bit of a handbook before and it's in regards to consent, nakedness, condoms, what's right and what's not."You never really get a lot of drink but they do say if someone's had too much to drink do not have sex with them."
10. Language
Sherif was kicked out of the Love Island villa on day 9 after he play fought with Molly-Mae Hughes and described it as a "c--t punch".However the TV star admitted that it wasn't the first time he was told off for saying something controversial. He explained to The Sun: "There were so many things I was pulled aside on. The first was calling Amber 'lighty,' which I know is a poor choice of words but she did not get offended."He went on to say: "I asked them, 'Can you give me a list of the words I can use?' They said, 'No, but you cannot use that one.'"Arabella Chi also revealed she was told off for saying something deemed controversial.
Fans were left wondering whether the pair, who had apparently split five months before he entered the villa, were still together as members of Danny’s family still commented on her posts.
Nicole was also sassy when it came to captioning her stunning bikini pics, writing somewhat indirect messages including, "You don’t faze me", "Show em what they missing," and "I don’t chase I attract."
At the time some of Nicole’s followers hinted they'd love to see her in Casa Amor but unfortunately Danny didn't stay in the villa long enough for that to happen.
Before entering the villa, Danny hinted that he may have signed up for Love Island for the exposure afterwards. The Wigan lad is a plumber by trade, but used his spare time in lockdown to set up his own clothing brand Kramco.
"I’m a very motivated and ambitious guy," he revealed.
"So I had a lot of time off and set up the clothing brand with a friend. We’re in the process of launching it now."
Viewers also had their suspicions with one commenting, "Danny’s definitely still got a gf on the outside, he’s in it for the money for his clothing business, to try get a little bit of fame and that’s that #LoveIsland."
Another agreed, saying, "This Danny guy just talks about his ambition, he definitely just wants the money and clout #LoveIsland."
What happened with Danny Bibby and Lucinda Strafford?
Danny entered Love Island as a bombshell and instantly went on dates with Kaz Kamwi and Sharon Gaffka but set his sights on Lucinda Strafford almost immediately after.
They coupled up a day later but following a recoupling, Twitter erupted with fans branding Danny’s behaviour towards Lucinda "controlling" and "way too intense" after she continued to chat to Aaron Francis.
Things then got awkward when they split and Danny said, "I feel like we're on the same page, I feel like we're feeling the same things. Like, maybe we just be mates, eh? I think that's for the best because I don't wanna be this serious guy in here and if that's what you make me feel like then we need to maybe nip it in the bud.
"I don't think we're vibing off each other at all. You're like a matte black Lamborghini that I wanna drive, that I want, put the key in and it don't work."
He then attempted to crack on with fellow latecomer AJ Bunker but they were dumped from the Island before they could properly get to know each other.
Fast forward a few weeks and it appeared that Lucinda and Danny were back together after a cosy photo of them surfaced on the 'gram.
The duo were among a group of dumped Islanders on a night out at London hotspot STK but they got tongues wagging after he posted a Boomerang on his Instagram Story.
In the clip, Lucinda pouted into the camera as cuddled up to Danny while he posed with his hand on his chin.
The post was uploaded with the caption, "Got my lambo back," which led fans to speculate they were an item once again.
However Danny is now dating his mystery girlfriend andLucinda is back with her footballer ex-boyfriend.
Did Danny Bibby use the N-word?
Danny had only just arrived in the villa but before his first full episode aired it came to light that Danny had used the N-word on Instagram.
In a now deleted comment after one of his friends commented "Champ 👊" underneath his photo, he responded, "My n----".
His comment was written in November 2019, when he was 23 years old, but that didn't stop eagle-eyed fans from noticing.
Since the comment came to light whoever was looking after his social media account deleted the comment and the post.
However that didn't stop fans from calling the Islander out for his comment with one person writing, "Yeah don’t even unpack your bags because you’re going home that same night you enter kmt about you’re using the N word😐".
Someone else said, "Not you saying the n word in the comments section".
A third commented, "Get this man out of the villa‼️‼️‼️"
One more person added, "And the entire following is women of no colour. Picked Kaz cuz she’s a public favourite kmt".
Despite being inside the villa, a statement from Danny was issued via ITV and it said, "I’d like to take the time to apologise to anyone that may have taken offence to my inappropriate remark.
"I never meant anything malicious by this comment at all. I am not a racist person and it’s unacceptable language and ignorant. I meant no offence and feel like I have really learnt from my mistakes and will never use that word again.
"I am a kind loving person and hopefully you get to see that in the show."
Danny wouldn't be the first Islander to head into the villa and have a controversial past.
When Anton Danyluk went on the show it wasn't long before controversial photos of him dressed up in blackface surfaced but he stayed in the villa.
During the 2020 series, photos of Ollie Williams trophy hunting surfaced and shortly after he left the villa because he was still in love with his ex-girlfriend.
Also during the winter edition of the show, while Connor Durman was in the villa racist text message he sent to his girlfriend came to light and it was only in June (months later) that he addressed the controversy.
