We can imagine Love Island’s Kem Cetinay to be a bit of a mummy’s boy, and our suspicions have been confirmed after his mum Figen Cetinay had rather a lot to say about her son’s on-again off-again island love interest Amber Davies.
Figen called Amber and her behaviour “immature” and accused the 20-year-old Welsh dancer of playing games with her son.
Listen up Amber, you have been warned.
Watching their relationship play out on the screen must be tough for a parent, especially recently as we watched their solid, day one, infinity-bracelet-romance deteriorate into the couple calling it quits.
Figen continued on to say: "It’s hard to watch as I don’t like to see Ken upset. He’s a very sensitive boy" Figen told New! Magazine.
Mumma Cetinay also revealed she thinks Amber is: “fishing around to see what else is out there.”
We have to question what she thinks Kem has been up to these past few days in Casa Amor?!
She does eventually admit that whatever happens to the couple, she trusts Kem’s judgement and would support him no matter what her own views were.
That’s cute and all, but we think someone needs to give Amber a head’s up before she gets out.
Amber was left in bits after a postcard was delivered to the villa which showed Kem lip locked with another woman.
She ended up admitting that she is not willing to let him go, declaring: “I want him to be my boyfriend.”
It seemed to work though, as Kem cooled things off with Chyna, who he was seriously into just one day before, telling her that:"I’m not saying that I’m going to get back with Amber, that’s a very complicated situation, but there are a lot of feelings there."
The reconciled pair were then seen getting pretttttty frisky on the sofas in last night’s extra raunchy episode.
In other Mothers of Love Island news, Chris Hughs’ mum Val, Marcel Somerville’s mum Corleta and Gabby Allen’s mum Paula all appeared on the sofa with Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby on This Morning to tell the world what they think of their kids’ behaviour.
Chris’ mum accused producers of scripting some of her son’s earlier lines and Marcel’s mum admitted her shock at her son’s revelation he has slept with over 300 women.
We were surprised too Mrs. Somerville, but luckily your son has won over the entire nation, so all is forgiven.
