Despite being coupled up since day dot, Love Island’s only official couple Liberty Poole and Jake Cornish are currently on the rocks ever since she aired her doubts about his true intentions following his return from Casa Amor.
As well as having to watch Jake admit that he didn’t want to “rip her clothes off” in the Mad Movies challenge, Liberty was seen feeling insecure as Jake ignored her and instead spoke to Mary Bedford. 2017 Islander Sam Gowland even dropped a huge hint that Jake is playing up to the cameras after he told Liberty to "remember we are on a TV show”.
The conversation came after Tyler Cruickshank asked Kaz Kamwi (Liberty’s BFF) to be exclusive but when Liberty wanted to go celebrate with her, Jake held her back. It was all a bit AWKS.
In tonight’s episode, you’ll get to witness a showdown with Jake and Liberty and she pulls him for a chat following the dirty dancing challenge – where his heart rate was raised the most by Millie Court.

Confronting him, she questions why they haven’t spoken to each other all day, “I haven’t really spoken to you today. What’s going on?
“I do feel like since the whole rip the clothes off comment, I’ve been noticing a lot of similar things that have accumulated.”
Jake then presses her for an answer and she responds that she feels like they haven’t spent a lot of time together recently.

However, Liberty’s doubts continue to grow after Jake admits that he finds both Mary Bedford and Millie Court attractive and she feels she and Jake need to sit down and tell each other exactly how they feel.
Will the pair be able to put everything aside? Or is it the end of the road?
Love Island viewers are definitely urging Liberty to start being aware of Jake's "red flags" and to "start realising her worth".
