Cast your minds back to last week's Love Island, and you'll remember the absolute outrage which ensued when Jonny Mitchell dumped Camilla Thurlow (aka the people's sweetheart), and coupled up with Tyla Carr instead.
Tears were shed, angry tweets were posted and the nickname 'Jonny SNAKEY Mitchell' became a staple here at heat hq…
So, when Jonny and Tyla rapidly became the most PDA couple in the Love Island villa, we're sure we weren't the only ones whose blood boiled a bit for our favourite girl, Cam. We mean, the dust had barely settled on JAMILLA's grave and Jonny was practically planning the wedding with his new island bae.
But it turns out JYLA (or Tonny?!) might be over before they even started, as in tonight's episode, Tyla tells the girls she's having doubts about how compatible she is with the Essex boy.
Speaking to Amber in tonight's episode, she says: “I think I’m getting a little bit like ‘ugh’ with Jonny. I just feel like he’s not playful enough for me. He is just very soppy and I don’t mind soppy as long as it also comes with playfulness and manliness…
"I like the kisses and the cuddles and putting his arm around me and stuff, but I also want him to pick me up and throw me in the pool."
Uh oh.
"I’m just getting a bit bored and feeling like he’s being a bit fragile," she added. "If a macho man walked through the door with a lot of confidence and he was quite loud I’d probably be like...”
A macho man like GB athlete Theo Campbell, you mean, Tyla? A man who's already told you he fancies you and is planning to pick you?! Hmmm.
Later that evening, Tyla pulls Jonny aside for a chat. “There’s nothing you’re doing wrong at all," she tells him. "I’m having a whale of a time with you and I’m loving life, but I do need someone who is going to wear me out a bit and be overly playful and mess around.
"I’ve always craved an alpha male and I just feel like if it’s already like this in here, what will it be like on the outside?”
Now, we don't want to jump the gun… but with a recoupling looming and the newbies getting first dibs, things certainly aren't looking good for JYLA right now.
Could Theo be getting ready to pounce?!
