It's no secret that we are obsessed with Love Island, but last night's episode made for very uncomfortable viewing.
Not because Tom Powelland Liana Isadora Van Riel were booted out – that's all part of the game – but because of the way Terry Walsh and Emma-Jane Woodhams turned on Sophie Gradon the moment her partner was escorted from the villa.
Not cool, guys. Not cool at all.
Sophie was left sobbing when Tom has to leave the villa but, rather than comfort her, the majority of the islanders gathered in the kitchen.
Sophie was left in the smoking area with Olivia Buckland, Kady McDermott, Troy Frith and Tina Stinnes.
A clearly upset Sophie then dropped a bit of a clanger, saying: "That's Emma's game planruined."
But come on, guys. She was in shock.
Olivia and Kady lost no time scurrying to the kitchen to tell the other islanders what had happened and Emma-Jane and Terry, who had clearly been looking for an excuse to have a go at Sophie all day, ran over and started shouting in her face.
Yep, two on one.
From where we're sitting, that could be construed as bullying.
Viewers were not pleased with the turn events had taken, saying:
Former *Love Island *cast mate Zara Holland also stepped in, saying:
Plus:
Yes, Zara!
In case you're wondering what Kady, Olivia and Cara De La Hoyde were doing, it was this:
Nice one, ladies.
*Love Island continues at 9pm on ITV2. Hopefully this time we won’t be shouting at the TV. *
