Love Island star Tyla Carr has cleared up her claims the show's STAGED after ITV bosses were forced to deny her recent comments.
Tyla originally suggested producers have more involvement in the day-to-day villa shenanigans than ITV would have you believe, with fellow 2017 contestant Marcel Somerville even backing her up and claiming some conversations are set up for the cameras.
Well now, after ITV assured everyone rumours that the show's fake are 'absolutely untrue,' we thought we'd catch up with Tyla to set the record straight once and for all.
Speaking in the brand-spankin'-new episode of our weekly show #UnderTheDuvet, Tyla's now confessed that 'nothing's fake' and everything we see is 'true.'

I'm sorry I've put you in such a situation."Wes says: "We put loads on the line for it. I've put my neck on the line for this… If there was anyone out of this villa and that villa that I wanted to be with, it was you."Megan tells him: "I don't want to be selfish and have my cake and eat it but at the same time… I do miss hanging out with you and I do really love you as a person so chat to me about whatever. I want to be good friends with you still."
Jack and Adam have exes on their minds
Jack is talking to the boys. He says he feels he should apologise to Ellie for how treated her in their past relationship.Jack says: "I want to move on from it. Speak to her today and give her a really sincere apology because I am sorry for treating her like that. I'm so happy with Dani and I want Ellie to be happy as well. I want us both to move on, draw a line under it."Later, Jack goes to speak to his ex, Ellie: "I just wanted to say I'm sorry, I didn't treat you very nicely, I was horrible, I let you down. I wasn't myself then. I am genuinely sorry for how I acted. I just want you to know that I'm sorry."
Josh has no regrets
Georgia is upset after speaking to Josh following his decision to recouple with Kaz.In the Beach Hut, Josh says: "Do I feel guilty about the fact I've made Georgia sad? Absolutely. Do I feel guilty about the decision I've made to couple up with Kaz? Absolutely not. I believe in my heart of hearts it's the right decision. I can't deny that and I didn't take the decision to come back with Kaz lightly."Later, Kazimir and Josh have a chat.
BABEWATCH ALERT
Kazimir gets a text: "Islanders, it's time to find out who is going to sink or swim in the next couples' challenge… Babewatch. #LifesABeach #Sharking"In the first of three elimination rounds, the couples have to feed each other an icecream whilst blindfolded. In the second round, Islanders have to knock down sharks with lifeguard floats in the quickest time.In the final round, the remaining couples will compete to remain on a surf board for as long as possible, whilst beach balls are thrown at them.
The new couples lay their cards on the table
New Ellie is talking about being coupled up with Sam: "I do find other boys fit and I think, is that a bad thing? I feel bad."Wes tells her: "The only thing I regret about the first week is probably not speaking to more people. Even though I was happy with Laura, I regret not speaking to other people to see."Grace and Dr Alex are also trying to get to know each other.
Chatting to heat Radio's Emily Segal, Tyla revealed: "Nothing’s fake. It’s not fixed at all; it is true and everything that’s said comes from you. You’re not forced to say anything, but they have to reshoot scenes. If they don’t catch something properly you’re going to have to redo it.
"If someone goes and dumps someone you can’t just carry on if they don’t catch it; they’ve got to refilm it.
"Some scenes are reshot but at the end of the day it’s a TV show – you have to get certain bits. Also if I said different things to three different people, they can’t just shoot three different scenes. It gets all wishy-washy; they’ve got to catch it all in one scene. They’ll say ‘Tyla, can you go and talk to so-and-so and explain what you’ve said today."
This all comes after ITV denied the DRAMA around Tyla's comments, telling OK! Online: "It is absolutely untrue to suggest that Love Island is fake. The opinions they have and the relationships formed are completely within the control of the Islanders themselves."
So there you have it.
