There's been a lot of speculation as to how much involvement producers have in the day-to-day runnings of the Love Island villa. While we're living in blissful ignorance and believe it's ALL REAL DAMNIT, 2017 contestant Tyla Carr caused quite the stir when she suggested some scenes might not be totally authentic.

Well now - after clearing up her comments and insisting 'nothing's fake' - Tyla's told us one MAJOR thing the crew will be keeping from contestants this year. Huge. Mammoth. Quite-frankly-unparalled.

Yep - they won't even be told the World Cup results (spoiler: it's coming home, huns ⚽️)

The new couples lay their cards on the table

New Ellie is talking about being coupled up with Sam: "I do find other boys fit and I think, is that a bad thing? I feel bad."Wes tells her: "The only thing I regret about the first week is probably not speaking to more people. Even though I was happy with Laura, I regret not speaking to other people to see."Grace and Dr Alex are also trying to get to know each other.

Speaking to heat Radio's Emily Segal in today's episode of our weekly show #UnderTheDuvet, Tyla revealed: "You talk to [the camera crew] because obviously you get a bit bored in there and you try and throw a crisp at them or something. They weren’t allowed to talk to you at all. They might say a little something but, but you’re not allowed to talk about the outside world at all; so they won’t let anything go. They’ll be like ‘you know I’m not allowed to talk to you."

So, like, what about the World Cup results?

"They’re not allowed to say anything, and if you start talking too much about the outside world [the tanoy will come on] and they’ll be like ‘stop that chat.’"

Nothing short of DEVASTATING.

Tyla also cleared up her comments suggesting the show's staged, saying: "Nothing’s fake. It’s not fixed at all; it is true and everything that’s said comes from you. You’re not forced to say anything, but they have to reshoot scenes. If they don’t catch something properly you’re going to have to redo it.

"If someone goes and dumps someone you can’t just carry on if they don’t catch it; they’ve got to refilm it.

"Some scenes are reshot but at the end of the day it’s a TV show – you have to get certain bits. Also if I said different things to three different people, they can’t just shoot three different scenes. It gets all wishy-washy; they’ve got to catch it all in one scene. They’ll say ‘Tyla, can you go and talk to so-and-so and explain what you’ve said today."
