Guys, we don't mean to alarm you, but it's actually been 10 years since the young, wild and carefree cast of Skins series 1 graced our screens with their boozy antics and drug-fuelled debauchery.
10 years since Tony Stonem et al made us realise our Friday night gatherings at a mate’s house with a bottle of Caribbean Twist weren’t quite as rebellious as we'd thought.
WE KNOW.
It's probs safe to say Tony - AKA Nicholas Hoult IRL - was the first TV crush we genuinely thought we had a chance with. You know, the kinda crush you honestly think there's a chance you'll actually end up together? 'Cos you might casually bump into them in London or something and he's only a couple of years above and seems like a decent, down to earth guy, so he'll totes see past your puppy fat and fall madly in love with you and you'll become a fit celeb couple.
Nope? Just us? OK.
Anyway, Tony's all grown up now and he's even got a bloody moustache, so we thought it was about time we looked back at all the things that first got our juices flowin' for the Skins fitlord.

1. He was an absolute arsehole but let's be real we do love a bad boy
Tony first burst onto our screens waaaay back in 2007 and from the very first scene when he flirted with the neighbour, helped his sister Effy sneak in and locked his dad out the bathroom by climbing out of the window of his house, we were hooked.
But NGL, throughout series one he was kind of a dickhead. He just swanned about doing whatever he wanted. Cheating on Michelle, being a general arse to his mates and pretty much not giving a fuck. But you know what they say? One gal's malicious, sadistic fuckboy, is another gal's lovable rogue, right?
2. His underwear-clad exercise routine gave us all the feels
Before this whole wellness and clean eating thing came about and the ridiculously toned bods on Ex On The Beach set our standards sky high, Tony Stonem working out in his underwear was enough to send our teenage-self into dizzy spell.

3. His singing was actually pretty impressive
Before he ruined it all by cheating on Michelle with snotty Abigail and just being a big ol' dicklord, Tony sang like an angel and melted all our hearts.
4. He experimented sexually and didn't gender-discriminate
Remember when the gang went on a school trip to Russia and Maxxie was super sad about his best mate Anwar being all funny about him being gay? Well, Tony v kindly offered to, erm, relieve some of Maxxie's stress. All very sexually-fluid and ahead of the times. Love is love, right?
We're just going to ignore the fact he did it just 'cos he was bored and he was technically cheating on Michelle, too.
5. His connection with Effy was too cute
If you're an avid Skins fan you'll now Tony's sister Effy didn’t speak in the first series. It was all part of her mysterious allure and coming of age story in the later series, probs. But Tony and Effy found a way to communicate and it was so bloody sweet.

6. He gave all us thigh-heavy gals hope
Who could forget Harry Enfield's hilarious role as Mr. Stonem? His beyond awful jokes and severe anger problems gave us all the lols. And Tony knew just how to push his buttons, plus he gave us gals hope when he confessed thighs can be sexy. YES THEY CAN.
7. Series 2 Tony was a bit of a bloody sweetheart
OK so in series 1 Tony was the original fuckboy. But then he was hit by a bus in a heart breaking, and frankly jumpy AF scene, and things changed forever.
Gone was the arrogant and cocky Tony we'd grown to love and tolerate and a new, softer, damaged Tony emerged as he tried to get his life back on track. It was pretty devo to watch but as Tony slowly recovered and attempted to make up for his past mistakes we fell in love AGAIN.
8. He genuinely loved Michelle (and we were jealous)
Many tears were shed when we watched post-accident Tony talk to Michelle about what happened just before he was hit by the bus. SO MANY TEARS.
9. He was actually there for Sid when it came to it
Even though all through series 1 he was pretty bloody awful to his best mate Sid and basically taunted him for having feelings for Michelle, when it came to it, Tony was there for Sid when his father died.
And even though we're not sure what they actually said, this touching moment just before when Sid breaks down at the Crystal Castle's gig literally gave us ALL the feels.
10. He legit DGAF
Despite often struggling to get his words out and losing his cocky swagger, series 2 Tony still managed to stick it to those pesky authority figures and showed us sometimes we need to just not give a fuck. YAAAAS Tony.
11. His commitment to giving Chris a fitting funeral
And even though he was reckless and irresponsible, post-bus Tony stopped at nothing to give his friend Chris a fitting send-off. We reached peak Tony and Sid appreciation when they stole Chris' coffin from his horrid dad and strapped it on top of a mini and drove wildly around Bristol. It's what Chris would have wanted and we love who's not afraid to break several laws for the people they love, right ladies?
He’ll always be our first TV love. Thnx 4 the memories Tone, hun xoxo.
