This series of Love Island is literally all we can talk about at the heat offices. Seriously, barely a minute goes by when our minds aren't drifting off to Mallorca and that amazing (but also very muggy, apparently) villa. We're also currently in about 41435 different Love Island related Whatsapp groups so the majority of our conversations revolve around who's coupled up with who and why Jonny Mitchell is such a gigantic snake. Sorry, not sorry.
Anyway, while we've been loving this series from the start - and things do get pretty steamy in the bedroom – we haven't seen as much raunchiness as we perhaps would have expected from a bunch of seriously fit guys and gals cooped up in a luxury villa.
This is because ITV2 producers have apparently been cutting out sex scenes for the pure and simple reason the Islanders have all been at it too much.
Dom Lever previously revealed he and Jess Shears had slept together 8 times before she was dumped from the villa, and now show sources have claimed Kem Cetinay and Amber Davies have done the deed more than 12 times.
We've been watching the Islanders like a hawk, but we've definitely been missing out on all this action.
It turns out this could be because show bosses are cutting out all the saucy AF sex scenes.
"Some couples can’t stop having sex and are going at it almost every night," a source told The Sun.
"Producers are being ultra-careful not to let sex become the focus of the show so have refrained from airing saucy scenes."
They also added: "Countless sex sessions have been left on the cutting room floor over fears they could be seen to be sensationalising sex if it’s on every night."
Nawty, nawty.
We'd kinda love to be a fly on that cutting room wall, tbh.
