Despite Simon Cowell previously stating that the line-up for the main X Factor show is 'going to stay exactly the same for 2017', Louis Walsh has thrown a spanner in the works by revealing that Mel B could reclaim her seat on the panel after Nicole Scherzinger 'might be stepping down'.

We can always rely on Louis for all the inside info. What a lil scamp.

Louis told The Mirror that Nicole might have bagged herself a Hollywood movie role and thinks Mel B should return instead:

"Nicole might be getting a big movie like Wicked.

"If [Nicole doesn’t come back] Mel B would be a good idea for the panel.

"Mel is on the US show with Simon."

The former Spice Girl was last seen on the UK's X Factor alongside Cheryl, Simon and Louis in 2014.

Louis then added that he 100% knows that his position is safe, even though Simon gave him the boot in 2015. Never forget.

"I am signed for the next two years on X Factor so I am okay," he said.

"The show lacked energy when I was not there and Simon knew."

In other MAJOR X Factor news, Honey bloody G is apparently being offered ahellavalot of money to appear on Dancing On Iceas it returns after it's three year hiatus.

A source said: "Honey G was TV gold on last year's 'X Factor' so it's a no-brainer to sign her up for 'Dancing On Ice'. She is a huge fan favourite and is loved by the whole family, no matter what their age.

"The big question is whether she will skate in her baseball cap and sunglasses. Even the thought of seeing her in a different sparkly outfit each week is hilarious."

As you were.
