If you’re still grieving the loss of One Direction, fear not, as the new series of X Factor is just around the corner.

But if you’re only tuning in to look for a new boyband to replace the void of the lovely 1D lads then you might have to up your age limit.

X Factor judge Nick Grimshaw says: “I think there is manband rather than boyband…a vocal harmony group – which is less catchy but true.”

Fellow judge Cheryl Fernandez-Versini adds: “There are some really fantastic groups this year, and there’s more to come. There are some boybands. Replacing 1D? I’m not sure about, but there is some definite potential coming your way after Series one, so keep your eyes open.”

We actually can’t wait.
