Mandy Longworth was the first person to be evicted from the Big Brother house last night.
The 51-year-old, also known as Randy Mandy, was given the boot on Friday evening when People’s Housemate Tom Barber chose between her and Imran Javeed.
Mandy was up against Arthur Fulford, Chanelle McLeary, Sukhvinder Javeed, Lotan Carter, Raph Korine and Rebecca Jane, who were all saved by the public.
Evictee Mandy entered the house on Monday alongside her daughter Charlotte who burst into tears upon hearing the news her mother was leaving.
Mandy was not impressed with Tom after he chose her to leave the house, saying he had “about three brain cells”.
She added that she thought he was threatened by her and her daughter as a pair in the house.
Mandy insisted she brought life to the house, telling host Emma Willis during her eviction interview: “It would be boring if all the dolly girls were left in… and Tom.”
However, Tom’s role as the powerful People’s Housemate has come to an end, although he was unaware of this when it was revealed to the public.
During an appearance on Big Brother’s Big On The Side, Emma told presenter Rylan Clark-Neal: “Tom is no longer the People’s Housemate but Tom doesn’t know that. And tomorrow he will still think he’s the People’s Housemate.
“And then Tom is going to speak to the people again - but it’s not going to be the people, it’s going to be the housemates.”
Big Brother returns to Channel 5 tonight at 9pm.
