The track was co-written by Markus and he enlisted the help of production duo Mojam who have previously worked with the likes of Sam Smith and Emeli Sande.
Markus said: “I’ve always had another side to me that no one’s heard or seen before.
“I’m so thankful for my past and the incredible experience it gave me but now, looking to the future, I’m excited by the prospect of creating and sharing music that comes from within. Songs that I’ve written about experiences that I’ve had – soulful, autobiographical pop music.”
Markus experienced massive success with Westlife having already sold more than 50 million records worldwide with the band and, this time, he’s chosen to take complete creative control over his solo work.
Good luck, Markus!
