It's a debate as old as time itself... well, if time itself was just a day old. Marnie Simpson has sparked rumours that she's gone and quit Geordie Shore.
It all began when a story emerged that claimed Marnie was being dropped after a blazing row with MTV over the filming of her engagement to fiancé - and recent Geordie-Shore-quitter - Ricky Rayment.
The source said: “Marnie didn’t want the biggest scene of her TV life filmed and threw a bit of a tantrum.

“After a talking to by producers the filming continued, but bosses now think her storyline has come to an end."
Then the twenty three year old took to Twitter to post a long rant, which seemingly confirmed she was going to do Geordie Shore no more.
HOWEVER, she soon deleted the tweet and now MTV have released an official statement suggesting things are far from over.
An MTV spokesperson explained that two endings have been filmed for Geordie Shore Season 11 finale, but they have yet to decide which version will be shown.
The spokesperson said: "Marnie’s reaction today was in response to factually inaccurate reports and we have since spoken to Marnie to reiterate that no decisions have yet been made as to cast for any future Geordie Shore series. Viewers will have to tune in to find out."
Hmm, so maybe Marnie has yet to decide if she'll leave and MTV have got an ending for both eventualities. Season 11 of the show has yet to be shown, but is expected later in 2015.
In her deleted tweet, Marnie explained: "Being part of Geordie Shore was amazing and one of the best experiences I’ve ever been given and I will never forget it, but I couldn’t continue in the show in a relationship it wasn’t fun to me anymore and I didn’t enjoy it.
"Picking between my future was extremely easy ricky would always come first, it was hard to say good bye, but if I hadn’t I would of lost ricky which I wouldn’t of let happen, staying in Geordie Shore wasn’t possible any more. Given a choice on the day of my engagement say no and continue with Geordie Shore or say yes and leave it for good, I choose to get engaged to Ricky and say goodbye to the show, a decision I’m still extremely happy with.
"I would never let the person I love go because of a TV show. I’m so grateful to MTV for the opportunity and journey I got, it was fantastic and I will always remember it as a great time in my life…"
Well, hopefully there's a way that Marnie can stay with Ricky and continue to do the reality TV show. We'll keep our fingers crossed, pet.
