Those of you who thought your weekly dose of naughty baking related puns and cake-based innuendos would cease with Great British Bake Off’s move to Channel 4 sans Mel Giedroyc, Sue Perkins and Mary Berry have probably already been proved wrong after the roaring success of the last series.
BUT, we do have to admit, we’re starting to miss Mary Berry’s specific brand of culinary double-entendres. So, you can imagine our delight when Maz kicked off her new BBC cooking show Britain’s Best Home Cook with an absolutely clanger of an innuendo.
Viewers were treated to Mary setting the hopeful cooks a task involving nuts. Yep, you can see where this is going.
“I would prefer to have one dish that showcased nuts,” Mary demanded.
Fans on Twitter could barely contain themselves when Mary also joke about “banging some nuts in.”
PURE. FILTH.
One viewer wrote: “"Banging some nuts in" The highlight thus far. #BritainsBestHomeCook.”
Another added: “Mary Berry: "I would prefer to have one dish that showcased nuts." It's filth! Pure filth! #britainsbesthomecook #bbhc”
Others even claimed Mary’s new show was better than GBBO and Masterchef, thanks to the caliber of the innuendos.
