This precise week is the most exciting time of the year for one very specific reason, and it ain't Christmas.

THAT'S RIGHT. It's X Factor final time!

WOOOO.

The X Factor finale has delivered us (arguably) some of the best television moments of all time. There was the time that Alexandra Burke sang with Beyonce (AKA the best moment of all of our lives), the time Matt Cardle sang with Rihanna and it was the sxciest thing we've ever seen. And the time Nicole Scherzinger's mic didn't work so she grabbed it off of her contestant Jahmene Douglas.

Lol.

And Matt Terry (of the Louis Tomlinson resemblance) has revealed that he'd be keen to duet with Sam Smith or Jessie J.

"I would love to duet with Sam Smith or Jessie J.

"I love them.

jessie j

"They are my favourite artists."

Matt may be waiting quiiiiiite a bit of time for that first duet, considering Sam Smith recently reportedly ruled out an appearance on the show this weekend. Bit Awk.

A source told Daily Star: "Matt’s best performance of the whole series was singing Writing’s On The Wall. Sam loved his version so it seemed the perfect plan to put them together."

It was suggested that Sam is enjoying some much needed time-off after a pretty manic few years.

"There’s still a slim chance but it doesn’t look like it will happen now," said the source.

WE HAVE HOPE.

Simon Cowell responds to haterz saying non-British people shouldn't win The X Factor. For some unfathomably ridiculous reason, a whole loada people get really pissed off when non-British contestants appear on telly shows like The X Factor. Simon shut 'em down.

The X Factor's Matt Terry on mentor Nicole Scherzinger: 'I’ll buy her anything she wanted' Could these two really be a thing? COULD THEY? Probably not, no.
