The Maze Runner: Scorch Trials trailer has dropped, and it looks REALLY unsettling

Last year’s The Maze Runner managed to fill the gap in our soul left by The Hunger Games (SOB), but soon we wanted MORE violent thrillers involving plucky teenagers working against a terrifying faceless mechanical society.

And luckily, its sequel is here to give us just that.

This afternoon, the trailer for The Maze Runner: Scorch Trials dropped, and we’re already feeling a bit weird after watching it.

Starring Dylan O’Brien as Thomas and Kaya Scodelario off Skins as Teresa, Scorch Trials follows the group of runners who managed to escape their glade and now need to find out what the mysterious and powerful WCKD organisation is trying to do.

According to the blurb: “Their journey takes them to the Scorch, a desolate landscape filled with unimaginable obstacles.

“Teaming up with resistance fighters, the Gladers take on WCKD’s vastly superior forces and uncover its shocking plans for them all.”

The film is out this September, which gives us four more months to work up the courage to see it in the cinema. BLEEE.
