Megan McKenna's doing really bloody well on The X Factor: Celebrity, no? Not only did she top the iTunes chart with This , but she blew the judges away with another well-emotional performance last weekend.
She's claimed that the process hasn't been easy, though; admitting it's hard to be taken 'seriously' as an artist due to her reality TV past.
Chatting to heatworld about her struggle shaking the stigma around appearances on the likes of TOWIE and Ex on the Beach, Megan told us: "It's been like that for a long time, actually. A lot of people didn't take me seriously; people thought 'she just wants to be a singer like the rest of them.'
"It's like 'no.' I've been doing this my whole life and just because I've done these shows doesn't mean I've not been singing. It's because nobody's given me the chance to do it. Finally, people are listening."

Asked if she'll be performing any covers on the show, Megan revealed: "I'd like to stick with originals, but I wouldn't mind doing a cover.
"I love doing covers, but I feel like this is a once in a lifetime opportunity so [I'd like to be] doing my own stuff. I want to be seen as an artist. I've got loads of songs, I'm still writing now."
