Mel B wasn’t once known as Scary Spice for nothing because she is pretty, erm, scary so it’s probably best not to get on the wrong side of the X Factor judge.
But her fellow talent show panellist Louis Walsh did just that when he opted to send Paul Akister home in the show’s sing-off on Sunday night.
And former Spice Girl Mel has now branded Louis a wimp for not choosing to save her act.
Speaking on The Xtra Factor, she said: “I think that’s wimping out a bit to be honest. You have a feeling of who you think is worthy of staying in the competition and you have that choice.
“People clearly aren’t voting for the right people. That sing-off was incredible. Both of them sounded amazing. I am gutted for Paul. He is in my dressing room right now and I can’t say anything to console him. It should never have happened like that.”
But Louis insists he made the right decision and didn’t just take the easy option by sending it to the public vote.
He said: “I brought it to deadlock to see what the public thought. Both of them were amazing in the sing-off. Both of them were incredible and I wanted to see what the public thought. Both were really, really good. That’s the problem.”
