After being banned from touching any alcohol while staying at Mel B’s place, in Cancun, Mexico, for the Judges Houses stage of The X Factor, the boys category made sure they made the most of their return, by enjoying a couple of bevvies on the way home.
Much to the dismay of the many of the other passengers.
According to one, who had the luck of being seated close to the group, “[The boys] were on a mission as soon as they got on the plane.”
Now, it’s a pretty lengthy flight back from Mexico to sunny old Blighty so, after a couple of hours, it’s no wonder they were maybe a little worse for wear.
In fact, they were apparently causing were such a disturbance to the other passengers, stewards on board the flight were forced to close the bar. (Hopefully none of the other passengers wanted an innocent whisky to send them off to sleep.)
“They started ordering as many drinks as they could and were knocking them back like they were going out of fashion, the passenger explained to the Sun.
“It wasn’t long before they started shouting and acting the fool. They were really annoying the other passengers. It was a night flight so most people were trying to sleep but it was impossible. The stewards were forced to get involved. They told the lads they would not serve them another drop and warned them they would be in big trouble if they didn’t sort themselves out.”
The only one of the boys not involved in the chaos was under 18. Shame fake IDs don’t work at airports – he could have landed with a stinking hangover too…
