After popular TV host Holly Willoughby stepped down from her Team Captain role on hit ITV2 show Celebrity Juice, rumours have been rife as to who will replace her, with Keith Lemon even dropping some hints.

As actress Michelle Keegan recently left the role of Corporal Georgie Lane in BBC drama Our Girl, fans were quick to speculate if she could be joining Celebrity Juice, with many thinking she'd be a great addition to the show.

However, Michelle, who is currently isolating at home with her husband Mark Wright, broke her silence on the matter during an interview on The One Show.

Speaking to Alex Jones and Gethin Jones via video chat last night (Monday 4th May), Michelle shut down the rumours, saying, "I can officially say that's not true. Don't get me wrong, I'm a massive fan of the show. I love the show, I find it hilarious. But, at the minute, no, no, that's not true."

It comes just days after This Morning host Holly Willoughby announced she'd quit the show, thanking the crew for an amazing 12 years.

Sharing an emotional message on Instagram, Holly wrote, 'Thank you @celebjuiceofficial for 12 years of fantastic chaos... I can’t quite believe what we’ve done and how quick that time has gone.

'Thank you to you all for watching..we’ve always had the loudest and best audiences. Also a huge thank you to @itv2 for believing in the show in the first place and for all of your support...Over the years the production team has changed, however to anyone lucky enough to have worked on the show, they will know that we really do have the best time, it’s never felt like work and always been to me like a night out... Thank you for all your ingenious ideas and hard work... all good things must come to an end and nothing lasts forever...'
