If you haven't watched *Mike And Dave Need Wedding Dates *what the hell have you been doing?
In the movie we have the very fit Zac Efron, Adam DeVine plus Anna Kendrick and Aubrey Plaza. The story is based on two real life brothers – Mike and Dave – who needed dates to their cousin's wedding. After the girls they wanted to ask were unavailable they did what everyone would do – write an advert on Craigslist.
Their advert went viral and now they've got a film based on them.
Even though they managed to find normal girls (who they'd known for a long time) to take to the wedding, it wasn't easy. We chatted with the boys about what the actors were like in real life, their reaction when they found out Zac and Adam were playing them in the movie and the craziest girls they took out on dates.
Zac Efron and Adam Devine played you in the movie and you got to meet them on set, what were they like?
Mike: A couple of sweethearts. Just the nicest, most genuine guys, yeah.
Dave, what was your reaction when you found out Zac Efron was playing you?
I couldn't have been happier. I mean, it's pretty cool to get a call that says: "Hey Zac Efron is going to play you in a movie," and you're just like "OK".
So yeah, it was awesome. Very, very happy.
And Mike, how did you feel when you found out Adam was cast as you?
I was ecstatic I loved it. I feel like he steals the show in a lot of ways in the movie. He totally makes me look looked like a piece of shit but that's OK.
You got to meet tonnes of women, where did these dates take place?
Dave: We had like one favourite bar we kept going to and then I think, after a week, the staff there were like "who are these psychopaths? They're coming in here every single night" and they didn't get the context of it. Yeah, so we pretty much went to this one place all the time.
Who were the craziest women who turned up?
Dave: One woman jumped and latched onto me and bit me on the chest, which was really crazy. Super long story, we got way in over our heads with two really wild women.
Another time, we were out with two women and two of our friends and one the women was up on a fire escape and we were trying to get her down. She just really had to let go of the second story fire escape and fall into our waiting arms, but she kind of overextended herself and landed on a friend of mine and snapped his patella tendon and we had to go to the hospital.
Mike: We were kind of seeking out the wild ones.
They definitely got the wild ones, some of them even feature in the movie.
