Comedian Miranda Hart has made her Hollywood debut in a bit way. She’s only gone and starred in a film alongside Jude Law and Bridesmaids’ Melissa McCarthy.
In the short preview, Miranda is shown chatting to Melissa’s character about her relationship with her mother and how this affected her confidence, especially her dreams on becoming a spy.
The sitcom star took part in a Twitter Q&A session to celebrate the release of the trailer, and revealed that she and fellow funny lady Melissa struggled to stay dead-pan throughout their scenes together.
She tweeted: "Melissa and I had a few times of getting giggles. Particularly when she attempted a British accent #AskMiranda #SpyMovie"
Miranda plays a CIA employee named Nancy in the flick, which also stars Aussie actress Rose Byrne.
The 42-year-old explained during the Q&A: "She is a CIA analyst. A brilliant geek. But a sweet buffoon when in a social environment."
Miranda’s self titled sitcom came to a end over the Christmas period, with the clumsy comedienne FINALLY finding love with long-term crush, Gary.
It looks like Miranda might just have her own fairy-tale in Hollywood about to pay out!
