Following controversial star Roxanne Pallett's decision to leave Celebrity Island after just five days on the show, Love Island 2017 star Montana Brown has walked merely a few days later.
The 23-year-old Love Islander reportedly found it 'too hard' on the deserted Pacific island, and became jealous when Roxanne left, saying: "How dare she! She will be having room service at her hotel while we are having snails."
According to The Sun, an insider has revealed: "It’s the toughest reality show out there and she [Montana] was up against some incredibly difficult challenges, and she eventually decided she just couldn’t hack it, it was too hard for her, so she walked."
The source also said that bosses tried to persuade her to stay, but she wasn't having any of it, adding: "They tried to persuade her to stay but her mind was made up, once she decided the show was too tough for her she knew there was no point staying."
In an Instagram post Montana shared before the start of the series, she said: "Eeekkkkk. First episode of Bear Grylls the Island is on next Sunday at 9pm.... I can’t believe I actually did this, I am so excited/nervous to watch it 🙈😬 I’m interested to see if people think I’m going to be a wuss or a hard nut.... what do you reckon?"
Confused fans have since replied to the post, with one succinctly asking: "Didn’t you quit though???"
