What a year it has been for the online streaming giant Netflix, they added the entire series of Friends - which we were all very excited about, and also added new season of some of the favourites such as Riverdale, 13 Reasons Why, Ozark and also the new very scary series, The Haunting of Hill House. Now, as the end of the year draws near, we look forward to another amazing year of TV, with the likes of some new and returning shows.

ELITE returns for another season in 2019. Following the children at Las Encinas, the best and most exclusive school in Spain, in the first season viewers got to see what happened when three working class kids were admitted to the elite school after their academy was destroyed by an earthquake.

Disenchantment Season 2

From the creator of The Simpsons, Disenchantment returns for a second season. This adult animated comedy fantasy series was super popular earlier this year and will return for Netflix in 2019.

Stranger Things 3

Another popular Netflix series that we can look forward to next year is Stranger Things 3. Not a huge amount is known about the plot for the upcoming series, however the Duffer Brothers confirmed it would be set in now 1985, now reconfirmed in the teaser trailer. Stranger Things Season 3 returns to Netflix in the summer 2019, in the meantime you can watch Seasons 1 and 2 of the hit show on Netflix.
