The end of the Great British Bake Off (as we know it) was hands down the worst thing to happen to anyone ever.
If you don't remember the darkest time of this millennium, it was announced last summer that the show would be jumping ship from the BBC to Channel 4, and wouldn't be taking Mary Berry, Mel Giedroyc and Sue Perkins with it.
Everyone from Davina McCall to Jennifer Saunders have been tipped as new hosts, and the latest to join the rumour mill is Prue Leith.
Prue is a 76-year-old restaurateur, writer and food campaigner from South Africa, who now lives and works in London.
The Sun reported that Bake Off bosses see her as a "like for like" replacement for Mary, given that they're from similar backgrounds.
Prue was on the panel for BBC's Great British Menu between 2006 and 2016, and left last October.
