Remember the Teletubbies? Those bizarre, multicoloured trolls with disturbing voices and weird beady eyes? Well, they're back once again to entertain/terrify the nation's children and the BBC have released the first look at the plump foursome.

It's been almost TWENTY YEARS since they first appeared on our TV screens, which makes us feel ancient. Really, really ancient. Cheers Teletubbies.

Tinky Winky, Dipsy, Laa-Laa and Po

The cuddly monsters made their debut in 1997 and have been revamped for the digital age - their old terrestrial tummies have been replace with "touch screens", their home will include an eco-friendly windmill and of course, they'll mobile phones. Who knows how they'll type on them with their big ham fists, mind.

All the new tech sounds like quite a big change from the garish handbag that used to keep Tinky Winky amused all those years ago.
