The X Factor judges never seem to be able to get along and, despite being friends for years, it seems Nick Grimshaw and Cheryl Fernandez-Versini may have already fallen out – the BBC Radio 1 DJ has felt the former Girls Aloud singer’s wrath for getting her name wrong.
When asking her to comment on an act that had auditioned, Nick called Cheryl by her old surname, Cole.
Hitting back, Cheryl spat: “It’s Cheryl or Chezza!”
Not wanting to get caught up, fellow judge Rita Ora said: “I’m backing away,” and Simon Cowell exclaimed: “Awkward, awkward!”
Cheryl changed her surname from Cole to Fernandez-Versini when she married Jean-Bernard Fernandez-Versini in July last year.
However, Mr Grimshaw is not the first person to have found themselves in trouble with Cheryl while filming for this year’s series of the talent show.
The singer, who split from ex-husband Ashley Cole amid accusations he cheated, was angered by an auditionee who joked about stealing someone else’s husband.
Cheryl told them: “In future, don’t make jokes about stealing peoples’ husband!”
Ouch!

Cheryl Fernandez-Versini
Super-slim Chez rocked a 60s vibe in scalloped Red Valentino, Mary-Janes and a bouffy beehive.

Caroline Flack
Fresh from crowning Max and Jess winners of Love Island Caz Flack got her (very good) legs out in a leather mini and hipster Bella Freud knit. We love this hair style on Flack, so fun.

Rochelle Humes
How babe-in did Rochelle look in her orange suede Victoria Beckham dress? Expertly styled- up with a skinny black belt and strappies. Our fave.

Rita Ora
A loud Versace mini with sequins and pointy stilettos gave Rita a totally 80s feel. That sleek high pony works, too.
