There's a certain demographic of people (i.e us) who've seen Netflix's millennial-era chick flick, To All The Boys I Loved Before, approximately 9234923 times. We don't know what it is, but ever since it was released, we've watched in on average once a week.
Who are we kidding. We know EXACTLY why we've watched it - we're HEAVILY jealous of Lara Jean because we want Peter Kavinsky (AKA actor Noah Centineo) to be OUR boyfriend. 😩
But what would the film BE without Noah as Peter? We literally dread to think - and it very nearly happened, according to a brand new tidbit of info we discovered a few minutes ago.
The 22-year-old actor revealed that, at the age of 18, he very nearly packed it all in and gave up on acting. He explained that he'd filmed a pilot for a new TV show, telling The Hollywood Reporter, "I had this six-month contract that didn’t allow me to audition for anything else. My purpose was just to act, and you take away someone’s purpose and you kind of deteriorate them."

Thankfully, he scored an acting gig on US TV show The Fosters, which allowed him to look for other roles during their break. And, of course, he's now one of the biggest names among the Netflix generation, having recently portrayed Peter in TATBILB and also starring in Sierra Burgess Is A Loser, alongside Strangers Things actress Shannon Purser.
He also has a role in the upcoming Charlie's Angels remake as well as a 'stand-in boyfriend' in another upcoming flick, The Stand-In.
He apparently told the publication that although he didn't want to be typecast, he's very aware he's just starting out in his career.
"I was hesitant, because that’s all I have played," he admitted. "Everything that I’m doing right now, everything that I have done or everything I have lined up are stepping stones. I’m not anywhere near where I want to be."
