Great news, fans of ‘90s bitches! Sarah Michelle Gellar has revealed that she’ll be reprising her C_ruel Intentions_ role for a TV spin-off.

Sarah – who played Kathryn Merteuil in the 1999 movie – posted a #TBT photo of herself, Cruel Intentions writer/director Roger Kumble and the producer of the film, Neal H Moritz, to Instagram with the caption: “#throwbackthursday (a bit early in Los Angeles) this picture was taken on the eve of production on the original #cruelintentions. Its me #rogerkumble (director) and #nealmoritz (exec producer) and the other is a picture of us now on the eve of production on the new #cruelintentions. That's right "everybody loves me, and I intend to keep it that way" #kathrynmerteuil is back!!! I am happy to say that I will be joining them (and @nbctv ) on the new #Crueltv”.

The TV series is set to pick up 15 years after the film, and will see Kathryn vie for control of Valmont International and the soul of Bash Casey, who is the son of her late brother Sebastian Valmont and Annette Hargrove.

Remember Sebastian and Annette? They were Ryan Phillippe and Reese Witherspoon’s characters in the movie. Exciting stuff, eh?
