We like an honest celeb, and Olivia Wilde her been just that about her post-pregnancy figure.

She gave birth to baby Otis with partner Jason Sudeikis 11 months ago – and has spoken about her struggle to get back to Hollywood body ideals.

She wrote an essay for Shape magazine, and admitted that she’s “softer than [she’s] ever been”.

“I am not in perfect shape,” she wrote.

“In fact, I’m softer than I’ve ever been, including that unfortunate semester in high school when I simultaneously discovered Krispy Kreme and pot.

“The photos of me in this magazine have been generously constructed to show my best angles and I assure you, good lighting has been warmly embraced. The truth is, I’m a mother, and I look like one.

“After giving birth, I joined the ranks of millions of new mothers when I moaned, ‘Why do I still look pregnant? Is there another one stuck in there?’”

She even compared her body to a “deflated pool toy” after giving birth. Full marks for use of imagery in your writing there, Liv – top of the class.
