Olly Murs on SEX with The X Factor co-host Caroline Flack

Speculation has been mounting pretty much since the beginning of time about whether there’s something more between Olly Murs and Caroline Flack than friendship.

The pair first displayed their flirtatious behaviour on-screen on The Xtra Factor before bringing it to the main show this year on The X Factor.

But, much to some fans’ disappointment, Olly insists there is no romance between him and Caroline and if they climbed into bed together it would ruin their relationship.

He told Daily Mail Weekend: “Say me and Caroline slept with each other, then we had an argument but still had to work together. How would that work?

“There’d be friction. We’d lose that flirtatious thing, that chemistry.”

The singer also insisted that if there was ever going to be any romance between the pair, it would have happened by now.

He said: “Well, if it didn’t happen three or four years ago then it isn’t going to happen now. To be honest, it would mess everything up.”

However, Caroline may be on a slightly different page as she recently told the paper’s You magazine they’re “not totally platonic”.

She said: “We have the innate understanding of one another – we don’t fancy each other and yet we don’t not fancy each other.

“We’re not girlfriend and boyfriend, yet we’re not totally platonic either.”

GAH! We are totally confused...
