When he's not busy doing his best sex faces and brilliant crotch grabbing on the X Factor, Olly Murs likes nothing more than to hang out with us at heat towers chatting about stuff. We caught up with him for this weeks big interview in heat magazine, in his agent’s office in London (you’ll notice he decided to decorate the whiteboard behind us with some names of vegetables… ) and we decided to get him to lay some rumours to rest.
He tells us exactly what happened with that now infamous beef with Taylor Swift“I got massively stitched up by the radio presenter…I meant no malice in it at all, it was complete banter”. He also reveals what he wrote in his apology letter. “I left a card for her and it said ‘sorry I’m not that artist, I’m not that person’. But it made me feel better that I apologised.” As for his mate Harry Styles? He tells us, “I was expecting him to say ‘thanks for helping me out but he hasn’t!”
Olly is celebrating the release of his new album Never Been Better and his brilliant new single Wrapped Up (the one that made him do sex faces on the X Factor). And he tells us it’s his proudest work to date.
