Remember Outnumbered? The HILARIOUS sitcom, which seemed to perfectly sum up every single awkward family interaction from our childhood?
Yeah, GOOD.
Cos it's back for a Christmas special and we literally could not be more excited.
It's been nearly 10 years since the Brockmans catapulted onto our TVs and we followed the lives of two v stressed out parents, Pete and Sue, as they tried to control three charming but probably very frustrating kids: Jake, Ben and Karen.
Ever since we heard the news of the one-off revival we've been wondering what the tricky threesome look like now.
And a few months ago we did manage to track them down to see.
Jake aka Tyger Drew Honey makes documentaries and was on Celebs Go Dating.
We still can't believe he's old enough to date.
Ben aka Daniel Roche is literally a giant.
And don't even get us started on Karen aka Ramons Marquez.
WOWZERS. Haven’t they grown?
AND NOW THE FAMILY IS ALL BACK TOGETHER.
We literally cannot cope.
They may be all adulty and stuff now, but we're still expecting plenty of mischief from the Brockman kids this Christmas.
According to The Mirror, one of the show's creators Andy Hamilton previously spoke about the special and said: "The first reaction [when it turns up at Christmas] will probably be, 'My God, the kids are huge now!'
"The second reaction will be the one the writers have been getting since the series started in 2007: 'I reckon you must have cameras in our house’.
Unfortunately, Andy and his co-creator Guy Jenkins are not planning to make a whole new series of the sit-com.
Sob, sob, sob. :( :(
HOWEVER, he did reveal that he hopes to continue making special episodes as the years go on.
Speaking to the Daily Telegraph, he revealed: "Our plan is to pop in every couple of years and see how the family is getting on. You learn not to think too far ahead, but who knows? Many years down the line there'll be an episode where Karen becomes a grandmother."
OMG PLEASE.
How jokes would it be to watch Karen try and persuade her daughter/granddaughter that she can't keep nits as pets?
