The Outnumbered Christmas Special trailer is HERE, and we are outrageously excited.
Obviously growing older is to be expected of children, but somehow we kinda expected Karen to still be sitting in a fictional house eating ice cream arguing with her mum and Ben to be charging about making a mess. Neither of which is happening in the trailer.
We see a frankly VERY TALL Ben picking up his father, Jake saying something sarcastic about a turkey and Karen on her mobile phone.
AND THEY'RE ALL SO OLD.
(Sidenote: Is it wrong that we have a bit of a crush on Tyger Drew-Honey now? He was an absolute fitlord in Celebs Go Dating, we won't lie).
Tyger is now 20, Daniel Roche (Ben,) 19, and Ramona Maquez (Karen) is 15.
Speaking about the fact they've all aged, Tyger told The Sun's TV Magazine: "We’ve aged in exactly the same way as everyone else on the planet! It does seem slightly strange that people don’t acknowledge that.
"People say to me ‘Jake’s about 12’ and I go ‘Yeah... about eight years ago!’"
He has a point, guys.
BUT WE STILL CAN'T GET OVER IT AND WE NEVER WILL.
According to The Mirror, one of the show's creators Andy Hamilton previously spoke about the special and said: "The first reaction [when it turns up at Christmas] will probably be, 'My God, the kids are huge now!'
"The second reaction will be the one the writers have been getting since the series started in 2007: 'I reckon you must have cameras in our house’.
