The final series of Peep Show is back on our screens on 9 November (sob!) and at long last, the makers of the hit comedy have released a trailer. And it’s everything you’d expect it to be.

David Mitchell, who plays Mark, and Robert Webb (Jez) appear to be as hapless as ever – with Mark kicking off the clip by telling Jez: “Well this is it. Hard hats on. Time to descend into the depths of depravity.”

As you may expect, things are still a bit shabby (Mark’s got work problems and Jez is kipping in the bath tub) but those clever producers have managed to keep most of the storylines under wraps.

We have been promised appearances from some of the show’s best loved characters – Super Hans appears in the trailer and it appears they may be plotting to abduct someone. Interesting.

Speaking about the new series, David revealed to the Mirror: “They will be in horrible pain as usual. They will not win the lottery; they will not have a happy ending.”

Just as we’d expected. And we cannot wait!

The first episode airs on 11 November at 10pm.
