Perez Hilton branded “vile” and “disgusting” after enraging Celebrity Big Brother viewers with cancer comment

Perez Hilton has been slammed by Celebrity Big Brother viewers for making "vile" and "disgusting" comments on the show.

The blogger wailed with happiness after fellow housemate Ken Morley was removed from the house, saying he felt “cancer-free” after the actor's departure.

Coronation Street legend Ken was taken out of the show because of his “unacceptable and offensive” language and he and Perez had a few run-ins during their time in the house.

After Ken’s departure was revealed to the house, Perez clutched a wooden rabbit statue and burst into tears of happiness at the news.

When he was asked why he was crying by his fellow housemates, he replied: “I feel like a weight has been lifted off the house. I feel like we’re cancer-free now.”

Disgusted viewers soon spoke out in shock at the celebrity blogger’s insensitive comment with many calling for him to be disciplined or removed.

One Twitter user wrote: “Perez's comment about feeling cancer free after Ken’s eviction was disgusting. What a vile man.”

A different user wrote: “My uncle has cancer and Perez has made me feel upset. He should be thrown out. Vile man he really is.”

Someone else demanded: “What’s going to happen to Perez having called Ken CANCER, absolutely disgusting I’m enraged having just lost my father to CANCER!!!!”

Another tweeted: “Hearing Perez comment on @bbuk about cancer…he should be removed! Disgusting!!!!! @PerezHilton thinks he is top class…hate him!!!”

And someone else posted: “How can you say something like that? Cancer free @bbuk. I think that’s an insult!! He hasn’t had it, has he? @PerezHilton disgusting response!!!!”

The writer, who is currently still in the house, has previously been warned about making comments to Ken before he left which could be seen as threatening.

He told the actor he ought to be concerned for his safety when he left the house but was disciplined by Big Brother for his behaviour.

Perez is the bookies’ favourite to be removed from the house next after Jeremy Jackson, who exposed former Ex On The Beach contestant Chloe Goodman's breast against her will when they were alone in the toilet, and Ken Morley, who failed to tone down his offensive remarks.
